Based out of the United Kingdom, Cicada deliver a certain brand of heartthrob dance-pop that is heavy on kick drum, ensnared by repetition, and catchy to the supreme (reminds me of the 90s music they used to play at the local Skate Corral). Not only does it go well with roller blades and neon lights, but it is also an excellent choice for outdoor dance parties in the good old country barn. Don't mind the freezing weather.

Grime has had a bit of a rough hiatus. Remember how Lady Sov had her Def Jam gig screwed over, and when Dizzee Rascal had been cornered on British political talk TV?

Nothing fortunate has been going on lately--hold on, scratch that. The Qemists are on a whole other level. And this Wiley collab is hot stuff:
